Read the comparisonHow we picked these five
By App Store rating volume, which is the closest public proxy for how many parents actually use an app. All five are free to download, all are actively maintained, and between them they cover the range of approaches — a sleep specialist, two long-running general trackers, an ecosystem app and a minimalist one.
How we keep this fair
- Every hard fact — developer, rating, rating count, minimum iOS, price — is read from the app's own App Store listing, with the date it was read.
- Every page has a “what they do better” section, and it is not padding. If a competitor beats us on something, it is listed.
- We do not reproduce anyone's screenshots or copy.
- Where we cannot verify a subscription price, we say so instead of guessing.
